Jeg fisket forrige sesong utelukkende med enhånds, siden tohånds-stanga mi er et sørgelig kapittel. Regner med å investere i nytt og bedre tohåndsutstyr til sesongen 2003. Men jeg kommer ikke til å bruke tohånds hele sesongen, for enhånds er svinaktig morsomt! Bruker ei Guideline Pro Tech #7/8, med Power Taper #7/8 skyteklump. Jeg er vel sånn litt under middels i kasteferdigheter, men når over elva hvis det blir nødvendig.
På slutten av sesongen er det vel nesten nødvendig å gå over på litt finere kaliber, i allefall hvis man får slike ekstrem-somre som vi opplevde i sesongen 2002.
Orkla er ei stor elv, men med det rette enhåndsutstyret kan man jo nå over det meste av elva - og man trenger heller ikke være castinginstruktør for å greie det!

Helt enig med deg der fisket også en del med 1hånds i fjor og det er jo ikke til og samenligne med 2 håndsen.
Til sommeren blir det nok mest enhånds på meg synes desuten du fisker bedre og mer riktig med den også :)

Ja, det er nok uten tvil det. Man har lettere for å presentere flua riktig for laksen når man går med lettere utstyr. Og når alt kommer til alt er kanskje dette det viktigste? Det tror nå jeg.

Enhånds er morsomt, ja...!! Fikk en på 7,8 på 10'#8 i juli. Laksen tok på en dbl. 6 zonker. Eller kan en ha det "morsomt" med 2-hånds også. En trenger ikke gå med 15'#10-11, det finnes mange fine stenger på rundt 12-13 fot #8-9 på markedet i dag. Disse er virkelig å anbefale, fordelen med disse sammenlignet med 1-hånds i samme klasse er at de er mye mer behagelig og mindre "masete" å kaste med i lengden. Særlig hvis en skal vade dypt og samtidig trenger å underhåndskaste en del.

nå er jo orkla på mange plasser veldig smal så enhånd blir jo ikke masete der da.
Men det lønner seg nok å ha med begge deler:)

Sesongen 2002 ble den første "skikkelige" sesongen min i Orkla, fra før har jeg fisket mest i ei elv som heter Børsaelva i Skaun kommune (der jeg bor). Elva er vel ikke mer enn en forvokst bekk, så enhånds er det eneste man kan gå med. Var så heldig å få en på 3,3kg der, med enhånds klasse #4-5  Det var livlig!

Fiskat ganska mycket med enhands på lax,och vist när man väl får på fisken så är det en härlig känsla.Jag brukar variera spöna efter vatten före,men fiskar mest med 13fot spö.Holliday

Hej !
Jag håller med om att det är kanon spännande att fiska lax med enhands,jag köpte ett LeCie SHS 7-8 10,8 fot (single hand spey) i fjol.fiskade med den första gången i flaskhölen i Gaula och drog på en storlax som jag lyckades landa efter ca 40 min...puuuuhh !! den vägde 9,5 kg...fick även ett par mindre laxar på detta spö den resan,Jag använder powertaper klumpar klass 8-9 till detta spö dom väger mellan 23-24 gr ,dessa funkar kanon fint till spöt,har klumpar från flyt till sj 2/3.Till spöt har jag en Danielsson LW 7-9 som balanserar upp spöt kanonfint...
